Unhappy Coming home

Well, my fellow Texans, I'm heading home tomorrow to bury my sister. She was found yeaterday evening, cause unknown. I'll be in Dallas sometime Friday morning and leaving back to SC Tuesday. I never was very close to her so I guess it hasn't really sunk in yet. She lived in Denton, had 7 children and I can't even tell you how many grand children. And she was only 46 years old, yes she started young. 15 years old. She had a hard life she made for herself so hopefully she is at peace. Thankfully she seemed to have steered her children into better lives than she had.
Anyway. Happy trails.

Chris

Man, that just blows me away. I would offer you a place to stay, but am not going to be here, this weekend. I am soooo sorry to hear about this, and for your loss. It will hit you much harder, later.

It puts things in perspective when things like this happen. We all need to think about how we live our lives and the consequences of our decisions. I am truly sorry for your loss and I hope that God blesses you with his comfort.

I am sorry for your loss. I'm sure it is hard to lose a sibling no matter how close you were.

Easy to see why this is such a great forum. Thanks guys. As much as I wanted to drive the jeep, the need to save gas forced me to trade with my brother-in-law for the week. He'll have the jeep, I'll have his new Volvo S80. 500 miles per tank.

Angry

Well, I'm back in SC. Man, what a trip. Now that it is over, it is just beginning. She was a victim of foul play, were just waiting on details and hope for a speedy arrest. My mother is not dealing with all this well. My sisters ex-husband has a lot of seedy friends and relatives who say this guy may not make it to court. What a mess. I just want this guy caught and behind bars, after that, it's up to his bunk mate. I'll pitch in for a few cartons of cigarettes.
