But it does have an exosphere, or extremely faint atmosphere. On Earth, at sea level 1 cubic centimeter contains 100 billion billion molecules, where an equal space on the Moon contains a mere 100. They rarely collide into each other in the exosphere (which would cause wind or air resistance), and settle to the surface at night like a blanket. When the sun comes back around and stirs up particles, the exospere is rejuvinated for a new day.

When dolphins sleep, only half of their brain "shuts down." The other half stays active to help regulate breathing and keep them aware of predators. They can alternate between which half sleeps.

The word "thug" comes from a cult in India called the thugees. They targeted travelers to rob and murder, which they commited by strangulation. The spilling of blood was considered wrong in their society...

Clans of long ago that wanted to get rid of their unwanted people without killing them used to burn their houses down - hence the expression "to get fired."

Mimas. A small (246 mi. diameter) moon orbiting Saturn. For obvious reasons it has been nicknamed the Death Star Moon.

Aren't porpuses mammals? I don't think manatees and dolphins can "jump".

In the battle of Somme in 1916, the Allies fired 1.6 million artillery shells at the German lines, many of which did not explode. On the first day of the attack, the British Expeditionary Force suffered some 58,000 casualties, roughly 1/3 of which were KIA. The entire battle had a combined casualty count well over a million, with roughly 300,000 men KIA.

It was when humans first learned what a machine gun can do to a row of people. The single day death toll still stands as a record, and hopefully always will. One German Officer was quoted to say, "Somme. The whole history of the world cannot contain a more gruesome word".

Thats why the Great war(as it was called) was known as the war to end all wars. Apparently not...

Just because you post 50 times a day doesn't mean you know everything. It just means more people just see and believe the crap your posting.
