Computer Worm

Alright guys, this is VERY important, not for my sake, for your computer.

Today in MIS class (management information systems) I came across a slide and we were talking about a new computer worm that goes past Norton and many other anti-viruses. It is a tracking worm that is remotely activated.
Not your computer right?
I mean it only hit millions of computers.

It hit me. I came home and found out that I have it (well had it).
How can you check?
When you go to shut down your PC, it says you "Have updates (on windows)" every single time (this is on my windows XP). If this happens every time, I'm 99% sure you have it.
Fix it? Go to http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sec.../MS08-067.mspx
and get update and THIS WILL KILL THE WORM.

Remember, after you download the windows update, you have to restart your computer. When you do this you have to remember TO UPDATE your computer when you shut down, this will install the windows pack. This kills the worm.
Let me know if you have an questions
