I, for one, and glad to see some of the changes. I grew up in Albuquerque in the 70's and loved the rock and hated the Patsy Cline old country. I haven't been able to stand top 40 garbage for the last 20 years. So my choices were golden oldies or talk radio.
This new "country" reminds me of southern rock of 40 years ago. I now have something new to listen to.

^i think everyone here most likely enjoys the newer country artists you do. The problem people here have is sugarland, Taylor swift, hunter hayes, little big town, etc. it's all extremely crappy "pop" style music.

Join the club. I don't think there are enough hairs on her head for each club member to pull one, so you may have to settle for an eyelash or something.

Well I think she's had about 8-10 boyfriends already. She's like 22... So not a terrible number.

I wish she would just stop writing every damn song about them....

Hank III is my favorite out right now. I also like some of Shooter's stuff. And tho more southern rock than country also love Drive by truckers. Like some of Whiskeytown. I'm friends with Lee Brice's brother. I used to go watch Lee play at little small bars in Sumter. So I dig some of his stuff. If you haven't heard YouTube 'Sumter county Friday night'. Just a fun song by Lee.

Here's what my pandora station is mostly made of right now.

Eric church
Jason Michael Carroll(I love "waitin in the country")
Road hammers(love "I'm a road hammer")
CHRIS YOUNG!!!!
CHRIS CAGLE!!!! Both awesome modern artists.
Craig Morgan
Christian Kane
Billy Currington
Jason Aldean
A little bit of Blake shelton.
Blackberry smoke(they're awesome)
Aaron Lewis is great too.
Easton Corbin is the man.

I've got another station that's George straight and Garth brooks and the like. And then I get into skynyrd and classic rock.

Now my personal music on my phone, whiskey Myers is an awesome modern southern rock band. AWESOME. Turnpike troubadours. And all the regulars. I also like shooter Jennings. He makes great music. I can't stand hank III though.

She's such a great songwriter! Heard an interview with her not long ago; I didn't know that she wrote Mama's Broken Heart (Miranda Lambert sings it and she does harmonies on it). Love that song (and Miranda).

I have recently been listening to Randy Houser, Jason Aldean, Zac Brown, Brantly Gilbert, and Eric Church a lot.
Oh and I just got tickets for the wife and I to see Blake Shelton in a few weeks.
