Luke Bryan ...all my friends say good song even better video. can't go wrong with a video that has a pool table in a frat house with a hard top and doors on it, then go into the living room and there sits the whole tj up on jack stands looks to be getting a lift put on it while everyone is partying

I'm really digging this song! I'm a big Paisley fan to begin with, but the song is an awesome tribute to Alabama.

I am 32, and do not listen to a lot of new country, that being said, Old Alabama is a great song, the Colt Ford/Brantley Gilbert version of Dirt Road Anthem, and Luke Bryan are my favorites right now. I am more partial to classic rock and 80's country music than current pop country.

Darius actually started out singing country. He's about the only "90s rocker" that I like hearing do country. He's as quality of a musician and songwriter as brad paisley, Zac Brown and other country singers who actually write their own songs. Which doesn't happen too often any more.

I'm just not a fan of the droning/whiney singing voice. Same reason I don't like Rascal Flatts.

I can take some country music. Johnny cash and his contemporaries but on the jobsite today they were playing todays country hits. I was ready to go shoot myself it was so depressing. Mix in some rap I might have taken a few with me.

I thought he started out with Hootie and the blowfish? when I coached his cousin he never mentioned ever singing country

Before he struck it big in Hootie, he started out learning to sing/play different styles. Country was one of them. When they were still a "bar cover" band they played a lot of stuff. Kiss, CSNY, aerosmith. One of my favorite covers they used to do was David Alan Coe's "You never even called me by my name"

lmao...great band and great album though! I was listening to that album all week...love My Own Hell, Walk Away, and Bad Company (I grew up listening to Bad Company and IMO that cover is even better than the original).

Buuuuut... as for country...

Here's another great one:

We went to the Chesapeake City Park yesterday to see the Jamey Johnson Concert. I was almost like being at a David Allen Coe concert We even had a fight between a rather large biker with a rebel flag on his jacket and about 5 preps, of course the Biker won with the help of 4 of his friends to make it even, the rest of the bikers there stopped the cops from breaking it up until justice was served the whole fight started because some prep threw his beer at a 14 year old girl because she said she didn't like preps.
let me tell yall how fun THAT was
