Dad passed away...

My dad passed away this past sunday morning. He had been in the ICU since August 25 because of pancrentitus. He was 54 year old and this all happened with no warning. The pancrentitus caused other problems with his organs, especially with his lunges. His blood became septic and his lunges filled with fluid and junk. Sunday morning after being so fragile for so long his heart gave up. I don't really know why I'm posting this because I don't know anyone on here on a personal level but at the moment I guess I just need to share it with someone.

Neo, I'm so sorry. Most of us, god willing, outlive our parents, but your father was too young. It sounds like he fought the good fight. I'm glad you felt like you could share it with us, we are a close knit forum.

Would you mind telling us about him?

I can relate to the pain you are feeling. I lost my mother 5 years ago. It's a tuff thing to deal with, but as stated above..remember the good times. Try to not let it weigh you down! God bless man! You and your family are in my prayers.

Sorry about your dad man. It's a very tough thing. It's been almost 15 years for me and sometimes it feels like yesterday. Keep yourself focused on the good things and remember, you're not alone and we are here to help.

Sorry for your loss.
My Dad passed away on Father's Day when I was 18 years old.
He was 56 years old at the time, from a massive coronary.
He died in my arms.
I am now his age, but there is not a single day that goes by that I don't think of him.
Always remember your Dad.
The pain will subside but the good memories will persist.
My prayers go out to you and your family.

Steve

Neo,

So sorry for your loss. I can relate to the things you are going through because I lost my DAD to Pancreatic cancer a little over two years ago. I miss him every day. Do your best to celebrate your Father's life as often as you can. I wish I could tell you that with time it gets better, but so far that's not been the case. It just gets different. I'll keep you and your family in my prayers.

Deeply sorry for your loss Neo. My mother has suffered from pancreatitis a couple of times and I don't wish that pain and discomfort upon anyone. So I know how it goes...

Again, deeply sorry... my prayers are with you and your family.
