Damn... I hate to tell you guys but...

we all drive CARS!

At least according to the DMV.

When I got the Jeep registered in my name, the nice lady there asked me what kind of vehicle it was. I told her it was a Jeep Wrangler. She said "Oh, OK, then it's a car." To which I replied "No, a Jeep's not a car!"

I looked at the sheet and it said the following:

Quote:
Check one

( ) - Car
( ) - Light Truck
( ) - Medium or Heavy Truck
( ) - Trailer
She asked if it was a pick-up. I said "no". She said "OK, car it is".

So, the life long debate is over. Jeeps are Cars!

That reminds me of the time when I had a full size Ford Bronco in NJ.

One might gravitate to thinking they would be considered a light truck... However, the Garden State classifies them as a Wagon.

I know, it's soo funny. There are a number of people with TJ's up there running 33" tires or larger without flaps... but there are a couple of trucks running 36+" tires that have to run huge semi sized flaps.
