I hate daylight savings time, I wish it was just left alone. I need to move to Arizona.

Ya mean winter has started? I was starting to wonder why I put the soft top and half doors back on!

Was 12 degrees when I looked at the thermometer this morning. The sun managed to thaw the ice, this afternoon, but the thermometer is now back down to 20 degrees.

low 20's here in long island NY.....sucks though the WHOLE front end of my jeep is iced over pretty thick and I finally had the motivation to get off my ass and take the plastic end caps off my bumper but it would be near impossible to get throgh the ice unless I stood outside with a hair dryer

The new and improved daylight savings time may present a problem for time sensitive businesses like the stock market and such, because most computers and programs are not programmed for the change. If you think it may be an issue for you, you should make arrangements to take care of it in advance.

You said a mouthful. I have a lot of patches to do on some stuff that will probably not all get done on time.

I hate daylight savings. What's the point? Just leave it alone. As for weather, with the windchill it's currently -27.

We've been dealing with this as a mini Y2K type project. Operating systems, applications, etc are all being patched. We should be done the weekend prior to have ample time to test the patches.

The MS patch for windows doesn't even require a reboot.

The thermometer was sitting on 8 degrees when I checked it early this morning.

When I first got my convertible, it wasn't a basket case, but it wasn't far from it. After an engine and transaxle swap, rebuilding/replacing the brakes, steering, and suspension, and rewiring half the electrical system, I finally had it ready to drive... in November!

Driving in the winter, with the top down, isn't that bad. You have to be careful to dress warmly, and it doesn't take long to figure out exactly where to sit so that the windshield and seatback give you the most protection from the wind. The looks from the other drivers, though...
