Do you have a secondary vehicle as a gas saver?

Just wondering how many of you jeep guys own a secondary beater that you simply use for it's gas mileage? I'm looking into purchasing a 91 ford mustang lx with the 4 cylinder. I figure I'll park the jeep and rack up the miles on the mustang when driving back and forth to work/class

Post up you gas saver if ya have one. Curious to see what everyone has.

I wouldn't call it a beater at all, but I do have a DD so the jeep can rest in my garage. I have a 2006 Subaru Outback, gets great gas mileage!

This is my DD, but the city mpg sucks. May have something to do with the Hemi underneath the hood...
Ram Big Horn 5.7 Hemi 4x4

And here is my toy. The mileage is about the same in town as my Ram. When it comes to highway driving and mpg, the Ram wins hands down...

04 Lancer Ralliart. Couldnt talk the wife into getting the Evo. We needed something "Practical" for the family (me, wife 2 kids) And I find that if I am driving more than a few miles then we take the Lancer so we can "save a few dollars a month."

Gas is crazy!!!

Jeep now only driven close to home.

For daily drivers depending on range and cargo I ride a motorcycle and a civic hybrid.

^nice! i love simplistic bikes, same reason i love the jeep.
- gets the job done
- nothing foofoo
power windows and door locks are for sissies!
if i coulda got a bike with a kickstarter, i'd have one. eye-ing the royal enfields as a possible mod-to-cafe in my future; in 2011 they put kickstarters back on 'em (yeay).

Yep, sure am do. I save gas in its tank, then burn it up at alarming rates.
But I love all you folks with economy cars, I feel like it evens things out.
I really do. I'm all for alternate fuels and electric cars. Anything that will permit me to keep driving my liquified-dinosaur chugging death trap.

Just got the 340 Big bore kit on it, IT RIPS! Very happy with it, not sure of the milage but its definitely better than my Heep! Bought it with my own hard earned cash at 17.
The abundance of adhesiveness i have on there adds a lot of horse power! haha same as the jeep.

It's part of the reason I got rid of my LJ. Traded that for a 2011 Subaru Legacy 5 speed. Averages about 27 mpg combined. Now my new to me 99 TJ can be a trail beater without worries.
