Yes. I use it to catch up with friends I dont see on a regular basis and for most of my news as I cant stand most of the mainstream media. Not much different than using any forum. It is what it is. You can get into the drama or not, as with most things in life its all about choices.

Hewz naw!!! Facebook is a tool used by the man to monitor the sheep that is this pathetic society.
If you have it that's not a big deal.
Check it more than once a day tour a tool.
On it more than 5 min at a time... also a tool.
Ever fought on face book with someone.... Refer to ignorant sheep comment from earlier.

Fighting on facebook.... Cuz in person you can get your ass whooped.

People who bitched the most about the NSA snooping, are probably giving up more personal information on facebook than the NSA has on them.
I don't trust facebook with any of my personal photos or information.
They seem to change their privacy rules to suit their own agenda.

No, when it first started getting popular, I told my wife that FB was for teenage girls. Well, that was several years ago and I must stick to my guns and not become a teenage girl.
I think it came be a good tool for keeping up with family and friends you don't see often.
My wife keeps me up on MY extended family happenings....

Had an account and deleted it about 4 or so years ago. Too many updates about crap and really anything. My sister pissed me off the most, sorry I love my family, but I really don't need to know what my nieces and nephews are doing every 5 minutes. And I certainly don't need new pics of them everyday! LOL. I have 2 brother and 2 sisters, all with kids. Not to mention the countless cousins and friends updating me with the same noise. As I tell all of them, you got my number, call me if you want to talk, hell, text me, I can do that too!!!
Now...my wife, she is a Facebook crack-head. That and Pintrest or whatever it is called.

I was a over the whole FB thing a while ago so I changed things up a little. I went ahead and deleted anybody that is not a close relative or a close friend that I actually may spend time with. Only reason I haven't deleted it completely is that I have a large family, and some relatives that live out of state. Being that my wife and I welcomed our first child into our lives this year, FB is a great way to share that with them. They really enjoy the pictures and being able to see new updates or pics of things were doing and how she is growing.

Besides that I really have no use for it.
