Doberman Pups

Our dog Ahsoka Tano has given birth to 7 pups, 5 females 2 males. Our kids are going crazy over this. This is the first time Ahsoka has pups, we weren't home at the time when she had the first one, I believe she freaked out and left him in the dirt with its umbilical chord attached and placenta, when we arrived home she had four females piled up and cleaned right next to her. I took the lone pup and cut the cord, cleaned up, rinsed all the dirt from its mouth and nose, rubbed with a towel for a long time until he stated moving and whining, I thought he wasn't going to make it. Now, he is the least crying pup and the fattest, I named him Riddick, in reference to a fictional character portrayed by Vin Diesel in a sci-fi movie. Here is an image of my new dogs. Thanks for reading. Laters,

Are you going to be getting rid of any of the pups? Been looking for a red or black male for quite a while now.

God bless puppies... Especially Dobes

I sadly had to put mine down a couple of years ago due to Addison's disease. Did full research with the breed and breeder. All DNA and geneology testing done as well. My poor guy just got dealt a bad hand....Worst day ever

Happier times

Now I have this goofy pound puppy

We are actually in contact with a Doberman rescue organization. I've wanted a Dobe for a long time. From what I understand, they are fantastic animals, and their appearance is second to none. Congratulations on the pups!

They are spectacular... But can be a handful. Some can be needy (see my boy above) and can act out if not given tons of attention and exercise.

Yeah, I don't think I will be able to handle 8 Dobies . My family and friends are already fighting over the pups. I might keep Riddick and maybe try to breed him with another Dobbie. The day before yesterday, we docked the tails and removed the dew claws, they are all doing awesome, even momma Dobie.

Sorry about your loss evil427, that was a beautiful dog. Both the Stud and the Dam have Blues and Reds in their bloodline, I was hoping we had at least one of each, maybe next time. Your pound puppy looks happy as heck. Laters,

I grew up with a doberman. She was always killing cats around the farm, so the old man put a cowbell on her collar to warn the cats she was coming for them. She just learned to creep that much more gently so as not to even make that bell sound and she got 'em anyways. She was the Chuck Norris of dobermans...

I could use that kind of dog in my neighborhood; cat's are starting to take over.
