blueridge, watch some reviews on YouTube. you will have to decide what battery you want on how long it lasts, size, look, price. You might have to experiment with where u will get your liquids from. I like everything i got from copper creek(e-liquid). wish I had done some more homework before I bought my vapor Zeus, but I like how skinny it is compared to vamo v3 and other larger batteries. lasts me all day. when u buy your first juices, get smallest sizes, or sample packs to find a taste u like.

I, too, live in the sticks where stores for this stuff do not exist. We have disposables and fancy disposables in the gas station - I have stayed away so as not to taint my opinion on vaping in general, cause nuthin worth injesting comes from a filling station.

Where should I look / what should I be looking at? Where do you isolated guys resupply from? I'd rather learn a tip or two before buying into a POS setup.
It all depends on your tastes. It's like asking which front bumper or CCW is the best for you.

As a cosmopolitan, flyover country bumpkin with several shops in a 20 mile radius, I would have saved some $$$ if I would have bought a starter kit online.

Here's mine:

Battery:
Joye eGo-C Upgrade Passthrough 900mAh

Cartomizer:
Kanger eGo 1.6ml EVOD MT BCC Cartomizer- New Colors

Spare coils:
Replacement Coil Unit for Kanger Evod

+ ejuice of your choice.

The same setup (one rechargeable battery and one cartomizer) cost me $60 at a local shop, vs. $28 or so online.

The battery plugs in well into my 430N radio. One charge lasts me 24 hrs+. A larger/longer batter like 1000 mAh will last longer. The 900 is long enough for me, and still fits comfortably in my jeans front pocket. One cartomizer (with original coil) has lasted me 2 months, each coil lasts me 2-3 weeks.

Backwoods brew have some great ejuice (mmmm, malty toffee!), but I'm thinking about quitting cold turkey after this bottle is finished.
That's how we do in the 808 state

Thank you, fellers.

Any recommendations on goo flavors for a 'light menthol' smoker?

You are all going to die. What's wrong with you?
Nobody knows the long term effects of these
What antifreeze ? Omg ??

Kidding .... Been vaping for a couple years now.

Was a fan of the CE2 but now slowing trying to convert to a rebuildable. Too cheap to buy a good POV and still swapping between 2 Evo's lol

Big RY4 fan and is about all I use.

I like creme de menthe and truly tobacco menthol from copper creek. I mix them together because truly tobacco is too mild and creme dr menthe is too strong. I got the mint from there and it tasted like chemicals.

Blu

I just started using the Blu e-cig. I like it cause you can buy the cartridges locally and also order online. Comes with the charger pack the size of a regular pack. Just my preference.

I tried the Blu as well, but the strength of the vapor wasn't enough for me, and the lack of flavor variety. If it works for you then great.

Which is one reason I'm trying to quit once and for all. More government fees would ruin any savings I had from switching from tobacco, but that's a topic for another thread.

2nd day without using my ecig. Withdrawals are still there, but not nearly what I experienced when quitting smoking, even with Chantix.

I was using the 24mg strength. A 30ml bottle lasted me a little over a month, and started vaping in April.

Same ... I don't want to stop you from quitting but why not try and taper down?

I considered it, but I ran out of e-juice, and thought it was a good time to give it a shot. If I can't make it, I will go the lower strength route, and give myself another month or so before trying again.

Bump to see what people are using these days.

Recently bought and been using the telescope w/ 500 SS wick and 30 gage wire. It's finicky but when it works ... It works awesome.
Running about 1-1.5 ohms @ around 3.7-4.2 bolts depending on battery charge.

Good thing about these mods is the juice is burned more clean and I done have to vape higher nic levels. Currently at 12 mg but have some 6mg to try

This is the genesis rebuildable atty. (cheap and gets the job done)

My buddy runs that and builds his own coild. He's built some that would fog a room out. Personally I use G-10 tanks, and I'm getting an auto pipe in the next week.

just looked up the genesis atty. think I might have to grab one. I like the vapor Titan I use from vapor4life I use but the atomizers for it are hit or miss. Does anyone recommend a certain battery that works well with the genesis atomizers?

I've been rotating Backwoods Brew's "Malty Toffee" with Nikoticket's "Custard's Last Stand" and "Creme Brulee"

Hard to tell which one of those I like best.

Been set in my ways and sticking with RY4 from MVS. Time to experiment. More with PG/VG %'s I ordered RY4 and 555 50/50 from Mount Baker Vapor. I like the tobacco flavors more.

Friends of mine are dripping but I'm not ready for bringing my juice everywhere with me

The battery or PV?

There's so many. I was recommended a AW IMR 18650 3.7 to run with the Telescope #19B
It's a pretty basic manual PV and works well.
Not ready to drop $200 on a proV yet

We've (wife and I) been thinking of making the jump from regular cigs to vaping. A friend of ours have been vaping for a couple years and has gone from 2+ packs a day of regular cigs to 2mg nicotine vaping.

He uses Electronic Cigarettes ? Buy Premium E Cigs Online | Vaporshark.com and has been extremely happy.

Just thought I'd post up to follow along and get more info.

I see they have a Russian 91% rebuildable atomizer for 100 bucks. those are supposed to be really good. you can get clones of them for cheaper.
