My old scout master.

While I was in El Paso this weekend I was kicking back with my dad right now and we were laughing about some of the old stuff from back in the scouting days.

My dad an I were never real close... had it not been for scouting we may have never spent much time together at all.

One more plus for scouting.

i'm in scouting right now, glad to see others here. I'm life, very active in my OA Chapter and quite active in the troop, been there with the SPL position, but now i'm getting hosed, my scout master is my friends mom, he hardly does anything, got his eagle, got vigil, and is working at going for section cheif for the OA. I guess it helps his mom is a scout whore, literally. As soon as he got his eagle, she dissapeared, wont anwser calls or anything from me trying to get my eagle as i turn 18 in november. And you know how when you get blue cards when you earn your merit badges, and you are supposed to keep them for eagle when you get your board of review, well NO ONE IN MY TROOP HAS EVER RECEIVED A BLUE CARD. Got to love it, i guess the fact that she works for council and has her finger in everything helps her son out so much you have to love it when someone in my troop a couple years back calls an asks for the scout masters number because he went to council to retrieve his records so he could join another troop, he was only recorded with council as a scout, never advancing in rank or anything.

I have had a great expierence with scouting except for my whore, i mean scout master. And you have to love it when i give her my scout book and she loses it an says she never got it from me!!

sorry, needed to vent alittle

Have you contacted your counsel officer to see if there is another troop to help you finish your quest?

Before you do any more work you need to make the move.
