A stocked raft. I think zombies or other random creatures can't swim, and if I have to die, I think drowning might be the way to go.

Have you not considered hunting for food? Why do you think it's bad to "rob someone" yet okay to "ransack a shop?"

Was that a movie about zombies or something? The stupid one with George Clooney? I think I saw the last ten minutes. What happened with a raft?

Not Clooney, Ving Rhames. They were in a shopping mall and were trying to get to the marina where one of them had a boat, figuring it was safe on the water.

I see it this way end of days my entire family runs for the jeep. there are 5 of us. so that would be five things. 1-me-crossbow 2-wife-m1 garand 3-son-case of MRE's 4-daughter- .22 pistol 5-son- pony keg. everything else is allready locked and loaded in the jeep. machete, cb, baseball bat, sling shot, binos, mp3, etc.

A BOB (Bug Out Bag) which would contain survival gear such as: flints, water filters & decontamination tablets, compass and maps (Can't rely on GPS staying up), medical supplies, knives and whetstone, a solar charger to keep my iPod running, a wind up led light, SAS survival manual (I have a pocket version to keep wheight down) and I must find one of these

or if you have a torch, you could take a regular hammer and heat up the claw part until it is red hot and take another hammer and pound it flat like a blade and then sharpen it. just suggesting....
