Evil Cows!

Suddenly it appears that I'm lactose intolerant!

Anything with milk or cheese in it makes me sick. I get all bloaty and gassy. Poor tiny has been running in fear of the brown cloud floating about!

tiny suspected that I may be lactose intolerant, so this week when I began my new diet, we started an experiment to see if I was indeed intolerant. So, a few days without any dairy and I felt GREAT! We decided that if I ate a small amount of cheese and had a reaction that I may well be intolerant.

Today, tiny and I went to lunch at Quiznos. I got the roasted chicken and honey mustard salad. I forgot to have the person leave the cheese off as she made it. So, I picked off as much as I could but left a fair amount on.

In less than 15 minutes I was miserable. You guys need to understand. I LOVE cheese. If I could have gotten away with it, I would have had cheese smothered in cheese sauce with cheese melted over it with a side of baked Bree. How on earth am I gonna live without cheese or sour cream or milk or ice cream or butter?! Holy Crap!!!

In just the time it took to write this, I've lost 27 pounds. My skin is a pasty shade of gray and dark circles have formed under my eyes! I guess I'm just gonna have to offset the lack of cheese intake with cigarettes and beer!

Jesus! I just remembered that pizza has cheese on it! Kill me now!

I'd like to put on the record that Mr Cain, who thinks he should be allowed to eat cheese whenever he feels like it, has a heart condition and is NOT supposed to eat cheese anyway. This is just his body's way of defending itself.

This comes about because your mother didn't breast feed you. You know everything that happens in our lives goes back to our mothers. You are going to just have to suck it up and either eat cheese and fart or not eat cheese and suffer!!!

For some reason, it won't let me edit.

I have nothing against your mother. I was being facetious about what I said!!!

HAHAHAH! That's OK, I love my Mother, but I don't like her very much! Besides, she has a chest like a 12 year old boy. If she would have cared enough to breast feed me, I would have starved to death anyway!

CCain, I feel your paid buddy. I have IBS-D, and Dairy/Eggs/Alcohol are my biggest triggers. No more beer, tequila, milkshakes, ANY breakfast foods that are worth eating, pizza.. Heck I could probably list the things I am allowed to eat easier than what I can't.... Unfortunately, I don't get the privilege of saying "Pizza today is worth it, Ill just be a little gassy" Like some people that are complaining.....

Time for some Lactaid. It contains the enzyme your body need to breakdown lactose.

Well, I tried Lactaid last night... Ate some cheese, farted and belched all over the house... Ended up with a distended abdomen....Again!

I took two of 'em too!

No relief.

Well.... It's not Dairy!

Last evening we had fajitas. NO Dairy what so ever. I ate shrimp, chicken and beef. I was careful not to use anything extra spicy. Just good old fashion meat and veggies.

Guess what?! in less than 20 minutes I was sick as a dog. And was still sick this morning when I got up. And I'm still not feeling all that well.

So, I'm just gonna quit freakin' eating. Beer has all the calories I need to survive.

Yea CCain, it sounds like you developed IBS bud Time to go see the Doc, and make an appointment with the Gastroenterologist. They will make sure there aren't any other issues, than help you find foods that you can eat without making you TOO sick.

I have IBS, you just gotta watch your diet
I have a mild case though, I can usually eat a burger and pizza with no reaction, but occasionally it does happen. Go to a doctor and get it checked out, good luck
