F-350 + bully dog

my boss has an 03' F-350 4x4 with the 7.3L powerstroke. he recently got a bully dog "power pup" programmer. he's mainly lookin to use it for better gas mileage. i'm pretty sure the way to achieve this would be by changing the tranny shift points. does any1 have any ideas of where to put the shift points? any body with expierence with this programmer. pretty much any help yall can give is appreciated. thanks
