f250 build

seeing as this is currently my favorite forum for actually getting answers to my questions. i thought i might ask for some opinions on my newest project.
i have a 01 f250 superduty that has a 5.4lv8, the 5.4s are all sh#ty motors and this one is no exception after having had to replace head gaskets twice and currently having 2 cylinders with helicoiled spark plugs and 1 that just shot its spark plug out. and on top of that the trans is slipping so even if i do just rebuild the 5.4 i would also need to rebuild the trans.
i just acquired by means of a friends demo car a carbed 460 and a c6 trans. in my highlife fueled wisdom last night i came up with the idea that a 460 should fit into the truck quite nicely.
i dont care about emissions or about how it would be a pretty large project. has anyoen done anything like this? or does anyone have any input?
