I don't think you do just shoot at anything, but the whole thing is offensive. But, I don't feel personally offended by you or anyone else.

Yall carry on. I'm sure that a lot of people are enjoying the read. I'm not going ot come back to this thread, because I just can't stomach it. I mean nothing against you guys.

I tell you what...any one of those bucks would be done if they wallked by me. They are all nice bucks for my part of the country. There are pictures of more buck in your post than I have seen in the past three seasons. Our deer herd has been thinned out pretty bad. Our wonderful game commision thinks we have too many deer and have been letting everyone kill them off. A few years ago it was possible to get a half a dozen tags. Before that we only had one tag for either a buck or a doe. I only saw two deer that could have been shot last year. I shot one doe and my uncle shot the other. We have been having more fun hunting dove anyway. My seven year old son has been going out with us. He doesn't have much of a nose, but he is still a pretty good retriever.

What part of PA are you from, Downtown Philly? There ARE so many deer in PA in general that they kill as many on the highway as with hunting. My wife grew up in western PA and all her family are big hunters. No one I know in PA has ANY trouble filling up freezers with venison.

Northwestern Pa, right on the NY state line. The area that I have always hunted has about a three mile long road up to the top. We drove in that road last year and saw three sets of deer tracks...in three miles!!! It wasn't long ago when you could actually find a deer trail. It has gotten pretty rough. I know that if you go south you can find a lot more deer. Most of the hunters from the southern part of the state own camps up north where I am. I think they have them just to get away from the wives because they have more Deer at home. Rebel, We have antler restrictions here, must be three points per side.

My wife's dad and mom moved here to Arkansas two years ago. They were from Clarion. I-80 about 70mi from the Ohio border. There were lots of deer in that area. That can't be too far from you.

They like to really make us stay on our toes here. Most of the state is a three point rule. (3 on one side) Certain WMA's have a four point rule (4 on one side) and then... there is a 4X4 slot in some areas. 4 points on one side OR fewer than four total points. It confuses us hillbillies!

We have that here as well. Some areas have a 4 point restriction. Clarion is about an hour and a half drive from here. Actually, the decline has really been noticed in the last couple of years. It really will help us in the long run that we have fewer deer. Because of that we are getting fewer hunters. It will just make us better hunters. We just have to work a little harder and do more preseason scouting.

It was 94 freaking degrees here on Wednesday. October? Bow season opened on Sunday. I refuse to hunt until it gets cooler! Supposed to be in the low 70's early next week. With lows in the 40's. That will work!!!
