fav mod

What is your favorite mod/purchase for your jeep to date and why?

I don't have much to choose from yet , but i would have to say my heavy-ass duty front bumper....with all the muck i've gotten into, it has yet to fail me when getting my ass yanked out from knee-deep tennessee mud!

As odd as it may sound I really like my cheap grap handles for the roll bar that I use to get in the jeep. I went from having them to not having them and geez I never realized how much they helped.

Everything that I have done for security. I don't run a rear seat. I have a 30 mm ammo can in the back locked up nice and secure with my patented fastening to the jeep system. I've got that hood lock which is great, have another ammo can mounted under hood for more valuables. Then my ultra top secret one, ammo can bolted to floor of jeep and locked up tight...inside the factory console.

If you have ever been pilfered like me, you know how pissed you can get. I sleep better knowing that I haven't made anything easy on a thief.

Just thought of another thing, long shank padlock I use to lock around the brake and clutch pedal arms. I like my jeep to be waiting where I left it. I once had a hidden switch in my ignition line, but after a switch malfunction, I never have put in another one.

not paranoid, are ya?

Mine would be the Super 35 kit & Detroit. The extra traction & beef is a MUST.

Howell fuel injection! it was a little pricy, but worth every penny. I live in Pennsylvania and carbs don't like cold weather much...especially the piece of crap they put on the 258. It didn't even like warm weather. I did the header and exhaust at the same time and it felt like I doubled the horsepower. As a bonus, it sounds like nothing else on the road.

I like the color I painted my Jeep so I can tell it apart from the other Jeeps in the parking lot.

Cool Number one and number two

Number one would be my JKS Quick Discos. Worth every penny!

Number two is the lodest Stereo in camp.

First my Jeep has a “slightly” modified Mopar Sound system.
  • Mopar RB1 DVD Navigation stereo.
  • Replaced Factory Speakers with Polk Momos.
  • 7” JBL Sub in the center console
  • 660 Watt DB amp for the four corner speakers
  • 250 Watt Sony amp for the Sub
  • Mopar 6 Disc changer in the add-a-trunk
  • Mopar Sirius Satellite radio tuner

Joe, do you still have those 20" wire wheels on your jeep or did you take them off when you painted it?
