Favre

Are you sick of all the news? I can't even read the sports section any more because I can't stand seeing all the Favre headlines.

Wait wait, he's going back to the team again, right?

Retiring.... wanting to play again.... retiring........ wanting to play again. Which is it??

He needs to knock it off and walk away with some grace.

I am on the other side of this fence. I think the Packers probably pressured him into the decision after last season when he had just thrown 2 interceptions that lost the NFC Championship for them. He's all beat up and thinking that football sucks. A few months go by and then he feels better and wants to play? So what the guy at 40 something is 10 times better than Aaron Rodgers will ever be. Then the Packers try to give him 20 million over 10 years to stay retired? That's just dumb. They need to step up and just release him so he can go play where ever he wants to. Why would they care since they've basically said that Rodgers gives them a better chance to win than he does.

ya but what was it two or three years ago he started the season by saying he was gonna retire, this will be his last season, then he sucked worse than he ever has, so he didn't wanna go out a loser, and kept playing. he's been bouncing around too much on the subject, he retired, the team made their adjustments, and now he wants to say screw that, it all revolves around me.

its too bad i'm so close to chicago, and a bears fan, cuz he was a good qurarterback, and i can't remember if he has a record, or close to it for most consequtive games, he never sat out cuz he was hurt, or called in sick. but i still hate him

I love how he is playing games with the media
hes been doing it for the last 5 years (I'm sure it isn't intentional, but its so damn annoying "Will he come back? Will he retire?"
it pisses me off, just get over it

I did. How can I seriously be tired of it without a TV or newspaper? I know about it, but have only heard about it in passing at the beer garden (great place by the way, though Cain sings at Texas Lil's so I like that place too) or when I catch a glimpse of a TV somewhere.

So. In all honesty, I'm not tired of it.

Make sense???

I think he's a baseball player or some such.
I have no idea why it should impact anyones lives, I've never understood why people get so wrapped up in games played by barely house broken adults and that don't involve large motors or death and dismemberment.
