I should add that I never have done this before and how much online time do you think is needed.

I can only go online at work though, so I wasn't sure if you have to keep a daily record or what?

Well we will be having an online draft. However if you can't make it at the time it's set then you can just rank all of your players however you want to and let the computer make your pics based on your list of rankings. After that there won't really be a need to be in there everyday. Just need to have your lineup set before the games begin. Check and make sure you can get to Yahoo Fantasy Sports on your puter at work and then send me a PM with your email address if you want in.

I would, but I watch football purely for the testosterone. No favorites, just watch every game that's on.

I will try to schedule it the last weekend in August or the first weekend in Sept. I know that's Labor day weekend so you all let me know if we should try to just take that one out of the picture?

Weekends are sometimes tough to get a bunch of people together. Maybe a weeknight after work?

Also - how many different time zones do we have to think about when scheduling the draft? I am in Cali.

That is actually one of the best reasons to play. You have players from all different teams, so it makes watching every game more fun. You can cheer for people on the field more. If you are a big fan of one team, it is hard to get excited when your team is getting lit up by a guy even if he is on your fantasy team.

In other words, join us, you'll ike it.

I hate that they put the game on the NFL Network. Can't get it at work and I wanted to see Tomlin's debut, even if it is a meaningless preseason game.

I don't like the NFL Network because of Bryant Gumble. He always sounds so freaking condecending.

(Eric, I'd be a problem with Fantasy Football, I'm a smug winner and a lousy loser )

Roth had a smokin 40 yarder to Cedric Wilson tonight. It was bad ass to see live football on TV again.

Oh, and Tiny hell yeah on Bryant Gumble. I don't like that guy either.

Well, Palmer has to go to "the yard" at the local lock-up to practice with the rest of his players.

That's the best kind. I know I am a smug winner, not so sure on the lousy loser part. Doesn't seem to ever happen to me!

It's maddening having a ten year old pick clean weeks several times during the season. I'd really like to take him to Vegas.

Well I say we've given it enough time for anyone to say if they want to play so we will just go with the 10 users we have now. I will setup the league tonight and get emails out to everyone.

Awesome - might as well start planning my victory celebration now!

BTW - any money to pay to the winners (maybe top 3?). Maybe $10 or $20 or so?

Eric, I wouldn't mind doing some sort of prize money. However I think we have some people that have never played before that might not be comfortable with it. I'd say lets just do it for bragging rights this year (And maybe a little something from WF for the winner. ). Then next year if all goes well we can put up some cash.

What do you think?
