No sport in it. I bagged 24 Hummers including a Police version (not a show truck, actual working unit) in 1 day. FJs are just as thick around here.

Define which FJ's? The new plastic style, or the old one's that do great off road?

They're fairly common around here. They aren't as decked out in chrome as the hummers though.

bonus points for one that looks like it can handle going off road,

man I hate these things,

drove a few at work, crappy..
mall crawler

at least the hummer used to be hard core..before it became a mall crawler.

I will be hunting fj's and hummers once my jeep gets here, and trust me Vancouver is full of em.

Exactly my thought. I love the 60's-80's era FJ40 Landcruisers

I still kick myself for not buying a totally rebuilt one back in the late 80's. Today in top shape they can go for $30,000 or more.

Crap! Then I'm in trouble as I just spotted this FJ yesterday:
Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser 1975

Not an FJ Cruiser, but still an off road FJ.

Hahaha^ kill, without a jeep.

strike my earlier statement. I should have been in my jeep when going to town but someone else offered to drive. On the highway one passed us and I freaked out. soooo mad. also saw some ugly hummers, one with a huge chrome brushgaurd bumper. Yuck. then to top off the night, some crazy ran in front of our vehicle at walmart and ran towards a white cherokee. I was like please dont let the stupid guy get in the jeep... he did. it was what looked like an 00 xj with a homemade snorkel (full of dent/holes) and painted (very crappily) white to match the car. had a good bit of lift, most of which looked body related because the body sat way way above the axles. had some 33s so it wasnt total crap I guess

sure there are jeeps. 2 of them even. left side of the picture, you will see the back end of a red yj, and parked next to it, you can just see the front end of a black cj.

Hi FJ Hunters,

Have used a FJ Cruiser and a Hummer H3 for Dune Bashing in Saudi Arabia. The performance of both was not bad, to be honest.

But the Sex Appeal was totally missing. The sound of the motors, the plastic desert inside and especially the plastic bumpers on the FJ...unacceptable.

I don't want to drive a FJ Cruiser but it's a unique car where megaboring Toyota had been brave enough to build a concept car. Same with Volkswagen with the New Beetle or BMW's Mini. All cars I don't want to drive but giving some more colour into the street life...

So my personal targets are more cars like Ssangyong Rodius, Chrysler Neon, Toyota Prius... .

Cheers,
Guido

I don't think I can actually count this as a kill because my Jeep isn't in the pic and it has a Chevy 350 with 3/4 ton axles so it could probably run my Jeep over..but ya, that's my dads..built not bought

I originally wanted an FJ but couldn't find one in my price range. The jeeps lack of interior space scared me, but now that I have owned the jeep and realize its not too small, i wouldn't have it any other way.

If you wanna be a chick, drive a new FJ. If you wanna pick up some chicks, drive a Jeep.

A lot of girls around here drive FJs and I really don't think I have ever seen a guy driving one.
