Is this because you haven't made it there or you don't want to take your new JK out? I had my JK out in the pines a couple times. She handles great out there!!

There are actually some nice trails back there that you could go out on solo. Just stay out of the mud and water holes so you don't get stuck!

I enjoy the tranquility of being alone on the trail sometimes, otherwise I do stupid things with my friends so I'm not the only one getting in trouble lol.
A good friend will bail you out of prison, while one of your best friends will be sitting next to you in the cell and say "f___ that was fun!"

Nonsense... You central jersians can fight, but here's New Jersey as I see it..

Blue is for NYC, red is for Philly and green is for Down the Shore. I picked these colors because blue is the color of the Yankees, red is the color of the Phils and green is the color of the water.

The yellow star is where I grew up.

Eh... Not sure where you're getting dounnashore from. Spent most of my life in and around Phila, still spend a lot of my time there, never heard it pronounced or seen is spelled that way. You also misspelled "youse".

I do agree with Lannick Cidy though.

We always said it as one word donnashore, and it was never "to the beach", going to the ocean, just downashore. (Yea, the spelling floats around, so does the accent.)

For sure, I've never said "to the beach", "to the ocean", anything like that, it's always just been "down the shore". Never really thought about it in the sense of running the words together, but now that I say it out loud, I guess I do pretty well drop the "the" from the phrase.

I'm planning on scouting Stokes tomorrow (nothing like last minute planning, right?), so i hit up the google maps. The forested area is HUGE! I could drive around all day up there without seeing the entrance to a trail...

Could you narrow down a bit where i should be looking? Maybe east or west of rt.206? North or south of CR-650?

It's on the west side of 206... All of the trails I've found have been off of a road called struble road. It's just past the main entrance of stokes on the west side. I had to turn left coming from route 15. There are enough trails to keep entertained all day and from there you can branch out. You'll have a ton of fun! I've only found a few trail and there's got to be hundreds more!! I wish I could go! We should organize a trail ride in the next few weeks before I go to school. But basically it's all on the off of the main road

I'm glad you said something, i was planning on heading east along Courson or Shotwell. I'll try west on Struble. A group ride sounds fun; i could only make it on a weekend though, due to the work schedule.

Well that was cool. It seemed a bit on the small side, but i think i may have cut myself out of some of the areas. Two or Three times i saw a trail branch out with a rock/dirt hump at the entrance that would have been 50/50 on catching my t-case plate. Since i was alone and don't have a winch, i didn't want to chance it.

Mostly just did the loop that starts with a big rocky hill, 90° left at the sign pointing to a natural area. Some local club must have been hosting a ride today; at one point i pulled over to let an oncoming wrangler past, and ~15 more Jeeps went by after him. Mostly JKs with the odd XJ or two, but i think i may have seen a Commander hiding in the middle of the pack!
