For All You Trout Fishermen

My brother-in-law has his new web site up and running. If you spincast for trout, check it out. Heck, even if you flyfish and hate spincasting, go to the message board and tell why flyfishing is better.

That looks good. I'm not picky about what I fish for, as long as it's edible and legal.

I've used the Crappie thingie, they worked well. I'm not sure if it was the same brand, but sure looks like it.

Probably. If it's called the Crappie Magnet. Actually that lure is still being "tweaked". We are not totally happy with it yet. But the trout magnet works like nothing I have seen before.

Oh. That's what we call a white perch 'round these parts. Mainly what we fish for here.

Thanks Amy.

That is the best tasting fish there is IMHO. I like trout, too. Some people don't like the taste of trout so much, but if you know how to cook them they are great. We filet them so there are no bones.

BTW Amerijeep, we don't make a white perch magnet, just crappie.

Blasphemy!!! diving, surfing and deep sea fishing are the only things I truly miss about california. all you can catch in the lakes around here would barely be considered bait down there.

our daughter with her first fishy, it really wasn't big enough to keep but since it was her first...it was tasty.

You should have got that monster mounted. It would look great on the living room wall.

Crappie are delicious, and are verry fun to fish with light tackle. They fight valiantly for such a little fish so if you're fishing 2 lb. test and a light pole you get a lot of action. The same fish will bite the same lure again and again if you keep throwin' 'em back. It's funny. Tough little guys.

I remember fishing over in Oklahoma, Lake Tenkiller(sp) maybe, when we were bringing in three at a time on jigs tied above each other on the line.
Took us twice as long to filet them as to catch them.
