Working, just like I do the rest of the time.

Going to Egypt sounds exciting. Have fun and come home safe.

I'm going to partake of the lovely bottle of bourbon that I know is under my tree. I'll be sipping out of the new whisky glasses that I also know is under the tree.

It looks as if I'll be spending most of my break bleeding profusely from the head! Turns out we "discovered" something new during my sinus surgery the other day, that my blood doesn't clot well, at all! What was supposed to be a simple outpatient procedure, wound up keeping me in overnight! I just finally got the drainage tubes out (my kids were calling them horns!) so now I only have the med tape mustache wrapped around my head!

Break? WTF is a break? Do people get those? I've heard of them, but I thought they were like the Yeti's. Everyone talks about them, but noone I know has actually seen one.

AHH man that sucks. I remember my sinus surgery, It was awful. The only time ever in my life I felt like I was gonna pass out from pain was when the doc pulled all that gauze packing out of my nostrils with one swift motion. I've had a kidney transplant and hip replacement and neither hurt like that. I'd rather take a kick in the nuts than that again. And the scabs are the sickest, Christmas morning five years ago I spent gaging and pulling scabs out of my throat with Q-tips like chopsticks.

A break means that starting today I dont have to show up to work till Jan 2nd. Not trying to rub it in or anything. Did I mention with pay?

Usually, it's like a vacation, except that usually, the difference is that those on break don't have a JOB to take a vacation from, so they are usually those long haired dope smoking hippie college students!

Break? The only break I have is a beer and a shot of Irish Whiskey at the end of each day dealing with working through the holidays once again.

I just remembered a friend of mine made some AWESOME home brew IPA ale, I have a plan to down quite a few of those Christmas Day. Loosen the belt, sit in the recliner and drink myself to sleep infront of "Its a Wonderful life"

Probably taking a few people to jail who didn't like the Christmas presents their Wife or Girlfriend got them....of course they won't say so until they have a 12 pack in them, watch the games on T.V. and see their team lose.

Other than that visiting my Grandchildren.
