Freak accident in Dallas

This will make me think twice about traveling next to those concrete barriers.

Or when someone else's lunacy will affect you.

"The driver of the Chevy pickup was not seriously injured. Police are investigating the accident to determine if that driver should face criminal charges."

Um, hello?! He was driving like an ass, caused an accident which caused another person to die? What part of this needs to be determined?

Or just a little outside of Dallas...

I was behind this one Wednesday nite that closed I-30 E from Royce City to Caddo Mills. My camera had just died about an hour before or I would have got pics showing how broad this really was.

That really sucks. I remember here a few years ago a car hit the center concrete median on I-40 in Knoxville. The front wheel and tire broke off and bounced off the barrier, shot straight up and landed in the driver side windshield of an XJ. It killed the driver needless to say.

I think that death happens to us like an eye blink. You close your eyes here and the next instant you open them.... We will all see one of two things.
