gas

so i read somewhere just recently that they are speculating that gas could be going down to about $60/barrel, which would translate to about $1 less per gallon. how exciting is that?!!?

HOLY SMOKES!!!!!!! that would be some freakin awesome...the jeep guzzles a little gas...but although it does drink the stuff i wouldn't ever give the jeep up...man i only get paid like $30 a week so buyin gas sucks...the parents help a little though ...man that would be great for it to go down that low...then i could drive and wheel ALL THE TIME

The price is droppin'

Hey, the price per barrel has dropped $8 ($78 to $70) in less than two weeks. Now that Ernesto is going to miss the gulf oil fields things are lookin' better. It could happen!

Dropped 10 cents per around here, even with Labor Day weekend coming. That is pretty exciting for me seeing as how I drive 500-800 miles/week. Could be a lot more money in my pocket every month!

Got down to around 2.57 at Cosco around here. However for places like AZ and CA that won't translate to as much savings as for the rest of you all. We have such a high gas tax out here I don't think we can ever get back under 1.75 or so. But hey I wouldn't complain.

And Jeepn I just got rid of my Hemi last week for that same reason. Between the extra payment, insurance and then gas it was a killer. I'm back to driving the jeep everyday.

$2.97 here for 87 octane. That's the cheap station, although they are all close.

The Jeep doesn't have a 26 gallon tank on it. Other than that they both get about the same mileage in town.

Here is something also very exciting!!

First found this in Nasa Tech Briefs. There is very little talk about it on the web but there should be.

http://mmdnewswire.com/content/view/490/26/

Diesel fuel from waste material. We are going to see the oil companies running around buying up all the landfills now.
