Paid $3.81 for regular 87 yesterday. Back in January I was paying $3.50 so it's definitely on the rise.

I never notice the price changes. Because I only put a certain amount in at a time and I never fill it. Ill put 20 in here, 10 bucks here type of thing.

Gas Buddy

Not sure if any of you have gone to this site but "Gas Buddy" is a site for people to list gas prices in your area. I've found it very helpful throughout the years, to find the chepest prices at any given time.

My TJ is my DD. If prices get to $5 (and in Chicago, they probably will), I'll have to pay the price. Doesn't mean I'll like it any, but...

I use their app on my phone. Great to find the cheapest prices on the fly. Just don't drive too far to save a penny, cancels it out.

I payed 2.95 a couple days ago without using Safeway fuel points. Not sure what you guys are complaining about. I can easily get in the 2.70 range using fuel points.

Nice, man...

i got my endorsement at 16 as well...i highly recommend the safety course

Not sure if its law where you live but when i lived in iowa at 16 it was law in order to get a M endorsement at 16. At 18 you could just go take the test and then do the dmv riding test.

But yeah, i highly recommend the course.

Like i said, got mine at 16, got my first bike at 19, and here i am at 25

What sportster are you going to look for? If you're open to suggestions, i'd go with an 883. Reason being it'll be cheaper than a 1200, cheaper insurance than a 1200, and you're going to mod it so going with a 1200 kit on the 883 will still allow you to insure it as an 883 due to its VIN and its lighter than an original 1200 which will make it faster than the 1200...

that was kind of a ramble...hopefully it makes sense haha

So the other thread was closed so I'm replying to a few that asked what plasma was. Its just a component of blood that is given just like giving blood. It takes around an hour to give and the prices vary according to city.

Right now, I get $240/month to give something that helps many people... and that money goes straight to my Jeeps tank. Eases up the budget for my wife and I and I dont get so angry at the pump cause I dont see my bank account in pain.

Sure, to some it may sound extreme (giving plasma just to drive) but look, Im in grad school and this jeep is a way for me to unwind from the stress of my program. If giving enables me to drive and chill then its OK in my book...

Oh, its $3.65 here in Athens GA. Just to add to the thread...

How many times do you give a month?

You can give twice every 7 days with one day in-between donations. Here in Athens there is a large supply of willing donors (read: UGA students) so they pay less. I have family in Tn that give and they get $280/month with the same donating schedule. Check around where you live- first off plasma makes a ton of helpful medications for sick people and comeon... free gas money for sitting and watching some TV? Done!
