Gas station

I was filling up my tj today, and an old yj pulled up and put all of $5 in his tank... This thing was jacked up on 37's... Some people make me shake my head

I'll agree not to judge as long as a struggling single Dad doesn't drive a YJ on 37's.
That's like feeling sorry for someone on welfare who smokes and drinks.

Maybe he forgot his wallet and just had some cash in his pocket...

I go to highschool and still work damn near full time in the oil patch. I make about 40 grand, get great grades, and live with my parents. I also pay every damn dime for my jeeps and insurance, registration, etc.

I also didn't make this post to be flamed on, I just found it ironic that a jee, which gets damn near the worst mileage in the world, doesn't fill it up

You just proved his point.

You can't judge someone based on superficial observation.

I've put $5 in my gas tank if I'm on E and I need to get some place and I can't be late. The $5 will give me enough gas to get where I need to be, and I'll fill up the rest later. It might not actually have anything to do with financial ability.

I do it all the time, once every couple of weeks.

I drive past a BP and Exxon station, every day, twice. I don't like them, they are 'worse evils' than my friendly local tiger station. When it snowed earlier this spring and we lost current, I went to get some water & bread. The owner saw me drive past his daddies house, so he came down and opened for me. Corporate stores don't do that.

I only fill up at those stations if I have to, and then just enough to get back to Chapmans. Usually it is because I was running late in the morning, and just figured I'd deal in the afternoon.

As I get older I am starting to realize that I will never know as much as I did when I was 18.

I have a gas card for husbands work. I'll put 5 bucks in if I need to and it's not from the gas station that takes my card. I don't carry lots if cash with me and sometimes just need to put in a little gas cause I'm on e.

Sometimes I will do that if I am somewhere and gas is like .30 cents more than it is near my house but I need some to get home.

Wow, some of you guys get really worked up about the smallest of things. The guy says he shook his head and you all act like he pointed a finger at him and started yelling SHAME!!! SHAME!!! before riding off in his chariot made of pure gold laughing devilishly.

Why does this topic need its own thread started ? Lol. I do this all the time.

Last weekend my truck had like 20 miles left to E, I only put like $10 in because I forgot my AMEX BCP at home (gives me 3% back on gas). I'm not full tanking $110 worth of gas with cash to get nothing back when one of my CC's gives me 3% back.

The next day I had like 30 miles left in my Jeep but I was running late to a flight. Put $5 in, parked in the airport garage, then I full tanked it when I returned later that weekend.

I don't blame the OP though. I people watched like a m'fer when I was in HS. But now that I'm older I could care less how others live. Lol.

"You're all" = presumptive judgement.

Just sayin.
