give me some reason

I want to go to the Midwest M and G this weekend. A few forum member has offered to let me ride with him down there, wheeling and home. So i need to convince my parents to let me go meet a group of 'strangers' from an online site as you may know i'm only 17 which is my problem, so any thoughts on what i should tell my parents to let me go?

uh i think hes referring to our attica trip this weekend? i may be wrong..

do you plan on coming down with josh?

tell your parents that most of us are 20-22.. we got a few older guys going (mid 20s) i doubt they will like the idea of you meeting a bunch of 21 year olds but hey.. talk your sister into tagging along jk

if they do decide to let you come, you will need to have them email the badlands a waiver since you are under 18.. regardless if you are driving or not, heck when we went in august, my gfs nephew had a problem with the waiver, they wouldnt let his grandparents sign it for them, they had to have his mom email it in to them

Sorry bud...No way in Hell I would let my 17 years old child go off with anyone I've never met before. The "nice guy" could be anything from a drunk to a bad driver to much worse.

Ask one or both of your parents to go along with you. It seems like a good way to let them meet everyone so they are more comfortable letting you go on trips in the future, and maybe they will finally understand what the whole jeep culture is about.

Maybe you should convince your sister to let you wheel her Jeep before you go.

why would you swap in a 4.0??? its way cheaper to just grab a v8 at your local junk yard and go from there! and are you trying to go on a wheelin trip just as a passenger?

sorry i was too tired to read all the post in this thread
