My cheif complaint about this thread is when I read "Global Warming Pics," I expected to see hot chicks in bikinis. You have all sorely disappointed me, and nobody has picked up the slack (even though we are on the second page already). This thread should be locked.

Mean . . . just mean.

That's it. I'm leaving until someone posts a pic of a hottie in a bikini (no dudes to be funny, chicks).

There's a disturbing lack of pictures in this picture thread

This is what I drive.

At a rest area in Montana

This is the snow they've plowed out of the parking lot so far, that pile is over 12 feet tall and about 100 yards long, it's also sitting in the ditch between the highway and the rest area so if it were on flat ground it'd probably be closer to 20 feet tall.

They now have more than double their annual snow pack and we aren't even half way through the season.

This thread is for whatever your winter conditions are. If you're having a BBQ in a T shirt and shorts, post pics. If you have pictures of snow bunnies in bikinis, for godsakes post the bloody pictures. We're just coming off 3 weeks of subzero temps and into a week long series of blizzards, I need something to warm me up.
Remember, a picture is worth a thousand words.

Not if the hummer or F350 are diesel.

We got hammered last night. One of the worst storms I've ever seen. All schools are closed, all government offices. Emergency travel only.
Both passes I cross closed right after I got through. I'm amazed they weren't closed earlier. It's a mess out there.

Yup, the passes to the east of us are closed, the main pass to the west of us is closed, the north is just plain buried and the immediate south is getting dumped on.
We're cut off from the rest of the world!

Boy am I glad I didn't have to work today.

As a side not, there's six inches of snow on the ground at my house right now. A little departure from 70 degrees a few days ago.

We're ok, just a little chilly and tired.
I'm surprised you heard anything, I was listening to the national news all day today and no mention at all, they just kept going on and on about the bad weather back east.
The major east west lane, interstate I90 has been closed for days due to avalanches that buried a couple cars on Snoqualmie pass and buried a semi and a snow plow on Lookout pass. The major north south lane, interstate 15 was closed at Monida pass for 24 hours due to a blizzard. The snow has been coming so fast and heavy that the state asked for assistance from guys with snow plows on their pickups to try and keep the main arterials open, they gave up plowing side streets.
I haven't heard about any of this on the national news but an avalanche buries a skier or a snowmobile and it's on the news for days. If there's an ice storm back east they make it sound like the end of the world.
What are we out here in the northwest, bastard step children? isn't our weather as important as anybody else's?
Sheesh, i tell ya, we get no respect
