I'm not talkin' about the temperature. It's just the feeling of the season. I should be spending my time out playing instead of being stuck all weekend at my desk writing papers.
I would kill right now for the time to sit out by the pool, have a few beers, and read some good fiction. Instead I'm reading about Interpersonal Communication and Statistics. I was up until after midnight last night finishing a 5000 word paper containing citations from 26 different references. I'm leaving for Vegas tomorrow for a week, but I have another two tests to take on-line and a 1500 word paper to finish by Thursday, then another 2500 word paper due on the 26th. The only saving grace is that I'll be done in 20 weeks!
Don't get me wrong, I'm glad that I went back to school and I love learning. I'm just ready to be done for a while.....
But just think how nice it will feel when it is done and you don't have to look forward to going to again.
Finished up my MBA a few years back and I have no intentions of going back for any more degrees. Very good feeling.
Yeah, I'll be glad when it's done, and I'm sure I'll feel good about the fact that I did it. I was going to start in a Master's of Public Administration program in January, but I've decided to take a year off before I start in on that.
yawn.. work 40 hours a week.. new job working 12 less hours (down from 52+ hours a week).. plus 10 hours of school in 2 days
i hear you on that moa. i work 40 hours then have about 7 hours of school in two days. my commute ever day is over 2 hours so factor that in and it gets kinda tiring... but summer school..so worth the heads up for the fall semester.
