Good Morning?

My son was going to school this morning and went head on with a deer, not a doe but a huge buck. He's OK the and car is not damaged to bad. But the deer went straight up and over the car and stuck in the wind shield of a mini van right behind him. The people in the minivan have a toddler that got cut by some of the glass from the wind shield. They are other wise OK. The Fire Dept showed up, then the EMT's followed by the CHP and Sheriff. While the reports were being taken and everyone was being checked out, an on-comming car rear ended the minivan.

what a way to start the day

The bad part for me is being 500 mi away and not being to help my family. I think my wife is more shook up than my son.

Wow, that is hard! How long until you get to go home?
I can understand your wife being shook up, too. That's her baby, no matter how old they get...

I'm glad you get to go home, for a little bit. I know it's hard to be away from your family for so long.

Hope everything works out and no one gets sued!

Did anyone get some deer meat out of the deal?

No one is going to get sued. CHP labeled it "No Fault"

The deer literally stuffed his rack and head through the wind sheild and then exploded all over the place. I guess the driver of the minivan had internals and blood all over him. The CHP asked for his reregistration and insurance, the guy told him to go get it himself because of the mess inside of his van.
