Gore-Tex

Man this stuff is great

I hunted all mourning in a driving rain
its been raining for a week so..
I did well 3 ducks and two pheasants
stayed drybut it does get alittle heavy

When I got home I hung my coat and pants
on a line over a electric space heater
they dried in about a half hour
ready for the evening hunt
Tonight its Pheasant fingers um um good

I'm going to the Rockies (somewhere near Denver) in January, someone tell me a good place (with a good price) to order gore-tex boot liners and glove liners. Other than a fleece liner for my coat, that's all I have left to order. They gave me a list.

I'm taking mine, best coat I've ever owned. Taking the ECW pants too. All Iraq/Afghanistan vets on this trip so I'm sure I won't be the only one.

Man you all are lucky
we didnt have gore-tex
back in 80
they had just changed from all green
to camo utillities
plus when I got to my duty station they
wouldnt even issue me a liner in
el toro
kg4kpq
Take a look at thesportsmansguide.com
a few years back I got boot liners for
like 10.00 for two pair
they should have glove liners also

I remember the OD's, the ones you tucked in right? Gone before I joined thank God. The "jungle fatigues" with the slanted pockets were my favorite, real nice in the heat of Ft Polk. I got one set before they were no longer authorized. Thanks for the reminder on Sportsmansguide.com, I get the shooting catalog already.

Ya Man
Thats them,I did boot camp at San diego and had
a buddy at Paris Island. He was issued all ODs in boot
then got jungles at school. We got the jungles in boot
and when at school I got a field jacket but it was still
OD and no liner
Man you are bringing up alot of old memorys

I just remembered those liners I bought on sportsguide
had a seam running up the middle so might be the best if
you are hiking
They worked but were hard to not bunch up
