got rocks?

We have a hideous cement and rock and cinder block thing in the backyard that at some stretch of the imagination was supposed to be a waterfall I assume. A few days ago, with my trusty pickax and sledge hammer, I proceeded to remove this monument to bad landscaping skills.

First day, I knocked a couple rocks off of the top and there it was, a honeycomb. But not the kind you see on the cartoons with all the nice yellow honey and smiling bees. No, these were pissed off bees who decided I needed to go away.

Luckily, they packed up their little bee bags and moved on, so I began the demolition again and now we have rocks. Lots of really nice rocks.

I had wanted to take all the remnants of this atrocity to my dad's place, but the rocks aren't so bad. Think big river stones only not as flat.

We need ideas for what to do with them. Our back yard is almost blank slate with only a few trees (two olives, one nectarine, and a brazilian pepper) but it's not huge.

What shall we do with our rocks?

Paint them like puppies and sell them. There just may be a market.

Yard's not big enough for a pool. I was also thinking raised planting beds or columns for a pergola.

You could use them to make a enclosure for the ducks.

Some are about the size of ostrich eggs, others the size of bowling balls.

can you take a picture and show us the rocks to give us an idea of how many and their size. makes a diffference on what you can do with them. build a tiny alter... or build a wall to keep out illegals. so many great ideas

Take them with you go wheeling so you can stack them if you get stuck.

Really, if you want to get rid of them, I have seen ads posted on craigslist of people looking for river rock. Have them come and pick it up. If you wish to keep them, I like the bbq/smoker ideal.

Maybe what I posted was confusing. If they do not really want to keep the rocks, place an ad on craigslist. If wishing to keep them, go with the bbq.

What do you expect with falling exhausts and stiff leaf springs. I am too rattled to make sense.

The leaf springs are what what makes it a Jeep. Even got new ones with the lift. Extra bouncy for those long drives. Keeps me awake.
