Grief, dispair, and agony on me.

Started my new job today. It's over in the next town, about 50 miles away. It's a great job with a great company. It has terrific benefits and pays very well. I even get a company car which they sent me home in. Well, that's fine except now my Jeep is still in the next town over. Every silver lining has a cloud.

What makes it worse is that I won't be able to get my wife to take me over to get it until Sunday.

Congrats! As for your dilemna - I would just drive your Jeep on top of the company car and park it there tommorow at work, then just drive home with it up there. Sedans make for excellent self powered jeep trailers

Well, I'm off on weekends. I bringing the Jeep home tomorrow. If I get a chance, I'll go get the company vehicle sometime over the weekend. I can't stand the thought of a nice weekend without the jeep.

I'm happy that I can get to work on the Jeep now that I don't have to depend on it daily.

Comgrats on the job, hope it goes well. A company car is great, now you don't have to worry about breaking the Jeep and walking to work. Myself, I just lost my job. I hated it though, so not such a bad deal. I'm pretty close to locking in a better job. A product development job where I have access to a full machine shop.

Hey Daddyjeep, Sorry to hear you lost your job. I know is sucks. Good luck in your search. Hopefully, you'll get the job with the machine shop. That would be really sweet. I did alot of job searching, mostky via the internet. To be honest, I rarely left my house to look for work. I applied for around 75 jobs in about 4 weeks time using the net. I had three or four potential employers wanting to hire me, but I went with the one that will look the best on the resume in the long run. It's a great opportunity and I think I'll try to go it for awhile. Anyway, like I said, Good Luck to you.

Jerry
