Grrr....

It appears my beautiful blue skies are about to turn gray. Now I have to go and put the doors and top back on the Jeep. Normally I would just park it in the garage and drive the car, but I'd rather not drive the car in the deep water. At least I'm not down in NOLA.

Wish it would make it over here to SoCal. We need some rain. Nothing but sunny skies.

1988. Let's see - I was already a year into my second marriage - three kids - and I'd just quit smoking.

Ah, 1988. Second year in the Army. The REAL Octoberfest in Munich, plus weekly beer fest in lots of other awesome German towns. About all I remember.

Good luck with your rain, looks like we get Hannah as a Cat 2 Friday.

Weather forecast earlier shows the storm track arching N/NW directly through our county. It won't be near the weather LA is getting now, but our town and county is very prone to flash flooding and blocking off streets and traffic. The idiots here cant deal with it. I'll be driving right through it.

We pretty much hi-jacked this thread but, in all seriousness, all you folks in the way of either of these storms, be careful, take care and good luck. You're in my thoughts.
