Gun show prices

Anyone noticed firearm prices seem higher these days?? It's been a few years since I've been to one, but I went this weekend and I though the shows were where you look for bargain prices. I don't mean like 50% off retail, just lots of used guns for good low prices along with the usual top of the line stuff next to it. There were a lot of vendors and everything was out of my reach this trip, wow.

It all depends on where you are. Large cities tend to have better prices at gun shows than mid to small cities.
Gun prices overall have increased lately due to a couple issues.
Number one is, military surplus weapons that are allowed to be imported are running low, low capacity semi auto or bolt action.
Number two is a great and legitimate fear of democrats taking complete control of the government, as soon as they secure control the anti gun legislation will come rolling out in a flood so people are stocking up on anything that'll hold more than 10 rounds and the ammo to go with it.

Noticed that too.

Went recently to one of the local gun shows looking for a deal on a Taurus .44 mag revolver.

After finding the (used) model I was looking for, left, went to Sportsmen's Warehouse and picked it up for $100 cheaper.

Dunno, it seems that they are becoming more popular...as such, the prices are doomed to increase.

well if all goes well the Supremes will put this to bed soon..

http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/...k/5325356.html

We have a right leaning court, and we can only Hope, or pray (if that's your thing) , that they take a strong no BSh1t postion making it crystal clear...

But politics being what they are I suspect it will be narrow decision and we won't be any better off...

I have always felt that the rt wing never wants abortion to be settled once and for all anymore than the lft wing wants gun control settled once and for all. if they did the single issue voters (uninformed nut job voters I call 'em) will stop coming out to vote.

YMMV

The Heller case won't do much if anything for years to come, all it will decide is whether or not the second is an individual right or a collective right and looking at past rulings of SCOTUS, they are nothing if not masters of obfuscation. Their rulings mean exactly what they say.. unless you want em to mean something else.
Besides, DC isn't a state and the second was never incorporated so it will have little effect on state bans.

Uninformed nut job voters may be more informed than you think

Hillary won't touch it, she'll get a sacrificial lamb like this twit to try and run it through again.

What a stupid B***H! She wants to ban something and she doesn't even know what it is! AND IT'S A MAGAZINE NOT A "CLIP!"

I don't think they would make it illegal to own firearms. They country would uprise, and the crime would skyrocket! This has been proven through history in other countries (Australia), and I don't think the Government is THAT stupid.
