Yes it is, surplus. The guy I bought it from bought 18 of them haha. I think he paid about $200 each. I bought one and my dad bought one. Amazingly clear. My illumination is nice, not sure if my dads illumination works yet.

That's been the optic I want on my AR for a long time. $350 is a great deal IF its a real one. If its fake, eh as long as the chevron lights up good and the glass is clear meh your still not that bad into it. Reason I've never bought one is I didn't want to plunk down over a grand for an optic on my plinker when the money would be better spent on glass for my DPMS LR-308.

Well there not fake, even called trijicon, so I'll go with the first option.

Actually that's only a "look a like", and not a 1911, but surprisingly it is a composite of two of John Browning's designs, the 1911's barrel setup and the Browning auto pistol action. I myself have one in .45, the model PS. It is a well made handgun, just a different design than the 1911, but styled after it.

Did a little trading around with a neighbor the other day and this ended up coming home with me. I have owned several S&W revolvers, but this is my first N Frame, first one with the lock and the first one that takes moon clips. Model 325 Night Guard. My neighbor being the previous owner I had the opportunity to shoot it on a few previous occasions.

I got the gun, box/papers, extra set of Altamont grips, 2 holsters, 15 moon clips, de-mooning tool, and about 50 rounds of ammo.

Pellet guns. Spring piston I would guess.

I just told a couple of my friends to get those when talking about the difficulty/expense of buying ammo

At least ammo is slowly coming back, and it really depends on where you are. In Seattle, 9mm is still next to impossible to find, but when I was in eastern WA a few weeks ago I could find anything I wanted. Prices where high, but not as high as the last several months. The thing that surprises me is 9mm is still harder to find than 5.56. HP ammo still hasn't started to normalize though thanks to DHS preparing for "civil unrest"

I won't ever end up not being able to go to the range because I can't find ammo again! I bought 2 guns 5 months ago, 1 I've shot less than 200 rounds, 1 hasn't been fired yet. I finally have enough ammo to shoot both, and will be doing so on Saturday. I'll be slowly buying more ammo than I shoot and keeping a backup 6+ month supply from now on.

2 of them are.

Can't beat paying $7-8 for 500 pellets....
Don't have the power of a .22 but dimes at 30 yards isn't terribly hard to do.

Yessir! Kimber Pro CDP II
I love it but it'll probably be the last one I ever own. Idk how I justified spending so much on a single handgun....lol
BUT.... I'm currently looking at building a complete custom 1911 (since they're my favorite frame) from http://www.caspianarmsltd.com/index....id=10&Itemid=8

Yes'em.. Jeep and gun nut!

My custom hand-built 2011 is $4300. You can always spend more. And you justify it because it's something you can pass on that's special. I need another glock like I need a hole in the head.

I hope with some age I can further accumulate even more artillery. I've got quite a bit but they're mostly run of the mill firearms.

Yeah If I spend that much on another firearm, it'll be a .50 or MP5 clone.

My XDs with xtension clip and trigger sight is perfect for my CC I couldn't imagine spending 4k plus on a handgun unless I was shooting comp style.

It is a competition style pistol. Barrels in 9x23mm and 9mm. But I'm still going to carry the cannon in a shoulder holster like a boss. It's going to be too pretty to only sit in the safe.

I plan on ordering a new one every year for a few years. Next one up is a compact for a more concealed carry option when not wearing a suit jacket.

4k? I could never sink that much loot into a pistol unless it was Pattons or something, lol. I mean, that's almost an AC556 which, imo, is way more fun. To each his own though... very fine pieces, gentlemen, and very true about their longevity. Your grandkids will (hopefully) be appreciative of em.

Already have an AR-10, AR-15, etc. It's that expensive because everything is hand made and polished. 2lb trigger on a double stack 2011. Pinned grip safety, barrel porting, sight integrated in the barrel, AET gain twist rifling, hard chrome, duo-tone, so yeah.

You get to pick EVERYTHING, kind of like a stock jeep, a blank canvas. They do stuff like this:

And this last one is similar to what I have on order right now...

Not just a gun, it's your gun, exactly how you wanted it.
