Years ago I remember seeing a tv bit on Jerry Rice's off-season "warm up" conditioning. He was helping some new young guy get in shape for training camp. I cant' remember who the young guy was, but I remember Jerry laughing when he made him throw up. They were towing tractor tires up a hill.

That's what Walter Payton used to do... he was a beast and my beloved Bears' best player all time.

Man, I don't know what's going on up in Oakland. First, the raiders have a pretty good draft, then they finally ditch Russell.

Maybe someone put Al Davis back on his meds?

Al Davis died 5 years ago. Disney was contracted in his will to make an animatronics version to sit in the booth. Every once in a while you can hear the glitch in the matrix when Al sez, " just wi'i'i'i'n ba'a'aby......just wi'i'i'in ba'a'a'aby.

I loved Payton. That man did things no other running back in the history of the game could do. He's my favorite player of all time. Elway ranks a close second to Payton....
