Have You ever been flashed?

....Take your mind from the dirt...

So here is the story...Me and a friend decide to go to starbucks and then go to a scenic view and enjoy the nice evening. While driving in up a hill road a car goes about 10mph and I am behind..I notice she dims here mirror cause my lights are high and maybe bother her driving..No worries. This lady drive slow so just before the traffic light I passed and look to see who is driving..Very strange looking old woman. While sitting on the light I sense a flash going off. I did not pay attention and I though there is something else..But after about 20 sec..another one. I turn to my friend and say I think this lady snaps pictures of us. She say what??I say yes. Light turns green I turn back an see she is actually taking pics..I am like oh well maybe she digs the Jeep. So I drive an pull in the scenic spot and she pulls back in me and continues takis pics and parks a few cars down. Now I am pissed off. I back the Jeep block her way and I go, why are you taking pics? She is looking with the window up..again why are you taking pics? She rolls the window down and say the following screaming..."You were trying to kill me back there" Then she picks up the phone and calls. I am assuming she is calling the police..Got her license # went to the police and report it.

Srry for the long story but I find this very funny and weird. An old lade snapping pics at night and then actually follow someone to a scenic spot and continues to photograph... And I though she liked the Jeep

Maybe she was lonely... should have offered her a ride.

That is odd as hell!

Had a old man about cause a pile up at the Airport last night. The free way and the exit from passenger drop off/pick up all filter into a 5 lane area where it circles around or exits depending on what lane you are in. Everyone is going about 55 when they come over a hill and of course grandpa is doing 5 MPH and cars started swerving around to miss him and then all the other lanes start swerving to miss the ones trying to avoid him. Those kind of people are so very dangerous it's not even funny. At a certain age they should start checking yearly eye sight and ability to drive.

Be very careful about willfully parking behind someone and blocking their ability to get away from you. I may be wrong on the name but you can be charged with unlawful detention.

some people are just idiots. did she stop and think that maybe taking pics while driving is not a good idea? i think that if she goes to the police ans shows them the pics they should ticket her for wreckless or careless driving.

Blocking their ability to get away from me? When someone is following me taking pics of me at night while I drive, then pulls into the parking lot where I am parking to take more pics, you think me parking behind her in a way that I can still talk from my Jeep is unlawful detention?? Don't think so. Plus, I was in the Jeep when I was trying to talk to her parked sideways not like when you park behind a car.. It's more likely that I was trying to get away from her than she was from me. I mean the crazy lady made me move from the scenic spot.

Scary very scary

Not to mention I did not do anything to scare her while I was driving behind her, and that's the weird part.

The way this person looked she should not even use a camera. People like that should not drive!

I have to answer the question I *thought* you were asking, because it's a good story.

Yes, once, and it was awkward as hell. I was driving through town and a teenage girl (pre-driving age, I would guess) was flashing cars (near the largest intersection in NH!). My first though was, "Gee, I sure hope her father catches her before she gets in trouble."

That was the day I realized I am officially old.

I hear ya, funny how that just sorta happens ... total perspective change. Not a bad thing though

Taking pictures is not illegal, however annoying or weird it may be. It would take more than a few pictures to even be considered harassment. But, detaining someone without cause can get sticky legally. You specifically in your first post said you used the jeep to block her way. Now that your story has changed strike my comment in this case.

Sometimes we just have to cut old people some slack. They scare easily! I used to ride with A.B.A.T.E. in Fla., we would be out on a charity poker run and when we came up on the older drivers, you could hear the door locks being activated and watch them physically roll up their windows. Our mere presence frightened them. The fact that we sit a little higher and that our Jeeps by nature appear aggressive can cause this reaction. So just smile and wave at them. Who knows, if she remembered to put film in her camera (i doubt she was using a digital) and if she remembers to get it developed, she probably won't remember why she took it in the 1st place.

I knocked on an elderly ladies car window one time to tell her that she had a flat tire(scared the living crap out of her). She was just driving along on it, with no care in the world. Brighter note, changed the tire for her, took her to my garage to plug the tire. She bought me and my family a thank you basket of fruit. She was a nice older lady.

Yes, I suppose you need a cookie because of it but your fear of bakers really makes that impossible.
