Not bad, dude. Thanks for asking. Last weekend I got some wheeling in and painted my engine brown from the deep pools of water since the dry spell finally came to an end. How about yourself?

I'm pretty paranoid about rust so I hosed it off. I'll probably look into getting the engine detailed a few times a year as well, but for now the hose did an ok job since mud wasn't caked on or anything. I'm definitely not envious of the East Coast's weather right now. Glad you're hanging in there.

Haha thanks bro. I run rescue squad and was there during the hurricane so my jeep was inside lol. How did you wash under the hood. I'm afraid I'm going to mess something up washing it...

Haha all I did was wait until the engine was cool, and used a hose with medium pressure. I just made sure not to spray the electrical compononents directly, and avoided spraying into the air intake. There are better ways of going about it I'm sure, but cold clean water I'm assuming is better for it than cold muddy water.

Are you going to foster children? My brothers were both foster children of my family that we ended up adopting.

Been fostering for 6 years. This is a kind of additional voluntary training we are taking.

None are currently up for adoption. They are still going through the courts so the future is kind of undecided right now for our youngest. And the two oldest have decided not to be adopted and to stay in care.

You're right safety, security and a stable place to live are big things for them, plus they get to learn how to drive in my jeep. Big attraction.

That's always really sad to hear. But because of your family they were given the opportunity to grow up in a safe and normal environment

Once my kids are grown and out of the house, we're planning on foster care.
