Think so. Taking it to an offroad shop tomorrow morning to get a proper alignment where they'll actually adjust the adjustables if the need it and they'll make sure the axle is centered. I didn't notice the death trampoline when I took it for a spin on the interstate after making the last set of adjustments.

So, my first alignment was done about two weeks ago by Firestone. Before making the adjustments I did, it was having the wobble issue. I got an alignment done by Offroad Innovations in Winchester, Va (awesome service and I will be going back there) and they said the toe was so far out that it's no surprise it was wobbling and that the front tires were basically fighting each other. I was doing 80-85 on the interstate on the way home, which is about 25 miles, and it didn't wobble once. That's even with hitting some big bumps.

I'm going to get a print out of my alignment from ORI and send an e-mail to Firestone's people bitching about what they didn't do to my Jeep...which is align it.

That must be a relief. Nothing worse than putting on new parts and end up causing a problem.

Every time I took my jeep to firestone they would end up messing something else up. I finally stopped going..

Do you live near winchester?
Were having a jeep meet and greet tomorrow Dec 9th in fredericksburg at the Quaker steak and lube at noon if you're interested in coming..

Yea, it's nice to have knowledgable folks around too. I love that Currie's shop is just up the road from me.

I got some photos of the 20 year old (who now calls herself my girlfriend) making out with my ex girlfriend. Now what's funny about this is that the ex is my good friend's sister and she's now related to me after through two marriages. I dated her in high school, so we weren't related at the time...that would have totally validated my reason for living in WV though.

Needless to say, there was a lot of alcohol involved.

My philosophy. Problem is, I don't have tools to measure toe and everything else, so I had to take it in.

They were cool though and the guy who I'm assuming is owner or at least some sort of manager said that when I go to install the upper control arms, I don't need to have it realigned, I just need to make it even with where the stock ones are at now and move them out about 1/8 of an inch and that should correct the caster to where it needs to be and won't screw with the toe or anything else.

I do it the redneck way with two straight pieces of angled steel on the wheels and a measuring tape.

1. Still waiting on pix.

2. Two straight pieces of steel (angle usually works, but check it to make sure it's straight.) put on the front tires so that you can measure in front & behind the tires...measurements should be within the margin of error for your toe.

Now... I only do it this way after a wheeling trip to check the rig out. For a problem like you were having, I would have taken it in to put up on a rack like you did.
