Now... I only do it this way after a wheeling trip to check the rig out. For a problem like you were having, I would have taken it in to put up on a rack like you did.
I'll trade you. Draw me a photo because I'm not getting it right now and I'll post up a picture later tonight when I get them off my camera.

How many different wrangler iterations have there been in the same time span as f150 redesigns? Vehicles that have less changes and share systems with other vehicles from the same manufacture seem to have larger after markets. Look at VW. The golf/gti/jetta have shared chassis and engines through all cars since the first or second iteration in the 70's/80's. they're about to reveal their 7th redesign in 2013.

So I got tired of always having a crappy shave and spending $25 on 4 cartridges so I bought a double edge safety razor and lather set. Much better shave, but I lose a lot more blood.

Plus, I bet jeep could survive as a brand with just two vehicles: the Cherokee and the Wrangler.

Ok...

I'm working on setting up a new printer in the office on the network. It's such a joy, I feel like singing Christmas carols!

I. Hate. Printers.

They're like my arch nemesis. Computers are easy to fix but printers have all this crap stuffed into them that you can't get to and all these stupid levers and switches you have to flip to get to the guts. I wish I was allowed to fix them with a baseball bat.

Ok, here's a quick sketch of what I was saying yesterday. I guess bungee'd isn't a real word.

Awesome. Easy to comprehend with some MS Paint magic!

I guess I'm going to have to live up to my side of the bargain now.

It's not 1000% accurate obviously, but it will get you within a 1/16 tolerance. It's just a quick check to see if maybe you knocked it out of alignment. I've found a bent tie-rod this way a couple times.

With the exception of the 1989 Mercury Tracer wagon my parents bought for my brother and I to share, I haven't owned anything but Jeeps and trucks. Trucks are quite functional, and you are everybody's best friend when they need to move, but damn...Jeeps are too much fun.

I don't mind being the "moving buddy"... it's when the bed becomes a trash can for every passerby with a bottle of some sort...or whole bags of trash.

Incidentally, I've had the same problem with the Jeep if I leave the back open "to the public".

If I ever saw anyone dump their trash in the back of my Jeep, I'd push them down and pee on them.

I did manage to fit a TV stand and kitchen table into the back of my Jeep a few weeks ago when helping someone move.

I'll be moving in the next couple months hopefully, but last time I moved I fit the majority of my crap in the back of a Ford Escape and I'm hoping to have a motorcycle trailer by then.
