A woman awakes during the night to find that her husband was not in their bed.
She puts on her robe and goes down stairs to look for him. She finds him sitting at the kitchen table with a cup of coffee in front him. He appears deep in thought, just staring at the wall. She watches as he wipes a tear from his eye and takes a sip of coffee.

"What's the matter, dear?" she whispers as she steps into the room. "Why are you down here at this time of night?"

The husband looks up, "Do you remember 20 years ago when we were dating, and you were only 17?"
he asks solemnly.

The wife is touched thinking her husband is so caring and sensitive. "Yes, I do," she replies.

The husband pauses. The words are not coming easily. "Do you remember when you father caught us in the back seat of my car?"

"Yes, I remember," says the wife, lowering herself into a chair beside him.

The husband continues..."Do you remember when he shoved a shotgun in my face and said, "Either you marry my daughter, or I will send you to jail for 20 years".

"I remember that too", she replies softly.

He wipes another tear from his cheek and says... "I would have gotten out today!"

Tonights the night. The Jeep goes under the knife. Hopefully it fixes the issue.

Dropped the bike 2" last night. Sits nice now.

Fresh from her shower, a woman stood in front of the mirror complaining to her husband that her breasts were too small. So, he comes up with a suggestion.

"If you want your breasts to grow, then every day take a piece of toilet paper and rub it between them for a few seconds". Willing to try anything, she fetched a piece of toilet paper and stood in front of the mirror, rubbing it between her breasts.

"How long will this take?" she asked.

"They will grow larger over a period of years," her husband replies.

She stopped. "Do you really think rubbing a piece of toilet paper between my breasts every day will make my breasts larger over the years?"

Without missing a beat he says, "Worked for your butt, didn't it?"

Good one.

Correct size bolts. 9/16" instead of 14mm for the 9/16" hole Jeep put in the brackets but used 14mm bolts on.

If that doesn't work, and all the parts up front are good, I'm going to try adjusting my caster out a little more.

Ah, yes I recall reading this earlier. Thought you had done it already. Good luck.

Yes, very quiet. I apologize for not keeping my small portion up. Been busy with Jeep(s) & family issues.

I'm sure someone can relate to: "Mom, I can't reset your modem from here. You need to unplug it & replug it back in..." .... "No Mom, not the computer, the modem..." .... "Not the silver thingy with blinking lights, that's the router. You want the black thingy with blinking lights..." .... "No Mom, that's the printer..." ... " Yes, it can wait until I come up to see you in April."

Mother is special with electronics. She knows what most things are called, but can't put the name with the piece of equipment. So she randomly unplugs things while on customer service. I'm going to have to get her a couple of switched surge protectors and label them or something.

TAX TIME! Thanks for reminding me, I have to print out my W2.

Ya'll have plans for the tax return? Or do you pay in?

I usually get about $2k back. That's a fastback soft top for the wrangler and closing costs on a house.

I get about 2K also. It's going towards paying off the daily driver.

Morning, gents. Been super swamped at work lately, which is a good thing. Looks like I'll get a couple grand back and it's all going to debt. Trying to pay some bills off and free up money monthly. Can't wait for $1k of child support & alimony to drop off in a couple years... :/

Sorry for being so out of pocket lately.

So I have a question, it's really strange. How do you guys feel about seriously wasting money from the company you work for? I was sent on a "business trip" recently, & it seems to me it was a HUGE waste of money. Mostly just a booze fest from what I observed. I don't drink much, but just went along with the group as I was the junior member of the group in terms of seniority with the company.

But the "work" was easy & I finished what I was sent up there to do by the second day. But the group "leader" booked everyone for 5 nights & the return ticket was pre-paid. I was essentially "stuck" there.

Srsly? You work for the government. I work for the government. All the government does is waste money. Remember the big scandal about the GSA convention that they spent more than $800,000 on for something like 120 people?

That's why they have whistleblower laws! You could always call in an anonymous tip to the local news.
