If anybody has tried it I'd love to get your thoughts on it.
Ive got the series... its rough. Really good for leaning up and making you sweat, nothing really good for bulk.

As a general question...what does everyone think of these "programs"? I have a P90X package I've never taken out of the box. I dunno if following a program is for me. Sometimes I'd just rather do my own thing.
Hehe, me too. Ive got both p90x and p90x2 and really use neither. Once you start figuring out how your body works and what works for your body, you dont need programs unless you lack motivation.

I cant remember if you said bulk or lean, but definitely a good plan for leaning out but I would highly recommend increasing the weight till you do a 15/10/8 minimum routine. The low weight high rep really does very little if you dont challenge your muscles enough. If you find yourself getting sore in joints, check your form to make sure you arent out of whack.

Both. I have fat that I want to lose and I'm not a very strong person in my upper body. I have a ton of leg strength, but I'm a wimp up stairs. I can barely finish the last few reps of curls with my left arm. It's bad.

I might even recommend a 10/8/6/4 routine. First set, 10 reps, then 8, etc. upping your weights each time. It'll build you up.

I'm moving next week. After that I'm going to build a collection of dumbells. I just have a crappy set that uses plates.

Really? Just a couple years back they had Remmington 30-06 like the MD National Guard issued for $300 at the big gun show in Dulles. $1,500 is ridiculous.

Good luck.

All this gun stuff is stupid. The government can't do anything except try and regulate who can legally buy one. Everyone that is worried about the government taking our guns needs to chill. I live in Texas and can say if they try it will just be one big blood bath.

Rode the bike to work today and had to make a detour that put me on it a little longer. About to go ride to lunch.

Depends on what kind of rifle you want. My Weatherby .308 was just over $500 with tax. The trick is finding ammo. I've seen quite a bit of 300 win mag, 270 and .243 not much else though.

Cali legal rifles and ARs are at a premium right now. Backorders or outrageously priced. Not to bad here just no stock. Might take months to get

Totally hooked up with chest piece girl last night. She digs me and we may start dating.

Honestly, she's amazing. She likes Doctor Who, so that's a keeper there.

Cool, cool.

I'm looking for something in a .308 actually. But I guess because I want it to have a pistol grip and a rail system... well that's just too much to ask here in Cali.

Found a couple but they are $1800 and six month wait. Ammo is a BIG issue here as well. People who do reloads are making serious $$.

There's a set of icon choices about the submit button you may have accidentally changed.

I was still coherent at this point.

Cute! (her, not you.)

Why ya gotta make me turn my computer sideways???

I must accidentally clicked it. Difficult to type with the computer lying on it's side.

It's appropriate. I was a little sideways at that point.

I'm going to try and borrow dad's guns and go shooting one weekend. I know he has at least 3 pistols. That'll have to suffice until I can actually afford my own.

Have you considered buying an AR in .22lr and just changing out the upper when prices come down? I paid 450 for my wife's Chiappa M4-22. It's a mil spec lower and should take a .308 upper with no problem.

I have thought about it. I can get a [mil] AR lower pretty cheap... With some simple swap outs of buttstock & trigger spring it should mate up to the upper I want. .308 ammo is one of the few types you can find here lately. Not cheap, but available. I'd like to have .308 for hunting also.

All this gun talk makes me want to buy another carry pistol. Used to carry a Glock 19 & would love a Sig 226.

A sig is like finding a mint Babe Ruth rookie card around here. You can find one, but you're gonna pay a premium for it also.

I add 1 Tbsp of brown sugar. Raisins & I don't get along... I've been thinking of maybe putting some apple slices in there. But I just dont have the patience to slice them up & all that nonsense.

On the up side, found a new mesquite rub for my chicken breasts that smells awesome. Grilled up this week's chicken last night. Can't wait for lunch.
