I don't know the job market in PA, but I'm a Respiratory Therapist and have spent the last 6 years trying to get hired on at a hospital with no luck. So still stuck in home care til I can open a restaurant.

I'm FROM MA but I live in WA. Once we sell the house we're moving to Maine. But even with veterans preference I can't get a job at the army hospital.

Lmao! That's exactly how it feels!! I used to valet cars and would get into all sorts of vehicles with the memory seat position...perfect analogy for that lol

Sure is. My wife is a nurse there and they call me when they don't know what to do for a patient. The shift supervisor has been trying to get me hired on, but the department head won't go for it since I don't have hospital experience. But I can't get the experience cuz I don't have the job and can't get the job cuz I have no experience. So I just eke out a living making way less than I should until I have the means to do what I want.
