45 is a bit overkill I think. The .40 is a good compromise. I like m&p

Hey mstj, you need to try the Sig Saur 1022 in 9mm. I love mine after I test rode S&W M&P, Springfield XD, Beretta Px4 and the Glock

The sig makes a good one but the one i was looking at the slide was a bit hard to pull back. But that could have been a number of reasons

I looked at the xd, but the m&p is a cheaper and the quality is just as good. I paid 520 for mine with tax. The xd was about 50 or so more.
