Healing up good ** warning - graphic pictures **

As you can see, I am healing up good. I have been sleeping on the couch, so I would like to get back in the bed. It is hurting a little bit, but not too bad. Go to Dr. tomorrow.

I did, it made my eyes water. It looks a lot better now. I bet rehab is going to tickle a little.

No I guess I missed it. By looking at the picture in this thread I don't think I'll go looking for the other thread.

How do you come up with these kind of replies to EVERYTHING??

When are you going to learn that most of us already hate you because your Jeep is cooler than ours? Then you have the first post with the sarcastic comment that we all want to make? I sure hope you can make friends in the real world...

BTW nice job on the 10,000th post^^

I fell out of my crawlspace and caught it on a bolt. It does look better, but I found out today that the Dr. says the skin is dying around the wound. I have to go to another Dr. tomorrow to see if the skin is dead and see what my options are. The doctor and the nurse were in the hallway and me and my wife could hear him tell the nurse, "That's bad, he needs to go see the trauma team tomorrow. He repeated it was really bad and that I had to see the other doctor tomorrow."

I didn't delete it. IT was called something like "Won't be driving my YJ" or something like that.

The link to the other thread does a good job of waking you up in the morning..

Godspeed to you - and keep us updated on your healing progress.

Well, I don't remember a whole lot of what the EMTs did when they got to my house. I do remember getting an IV and some morphine. I remember them putting the avulsion in place and wrapping it up to get me to the ER. I found out yesterday and confirmed today that the skin is dying around the wound. I have to wait another week to see the depth of it, and thus whether I will need a skin graft to fully repair the wound. I did find out that the odds are pretty bad to get any of the feeling back in my lower leg. I am basically numb from the knee to the ankle and they don't think much of it will come back. Oh well, could be worse.

Oh dang Afrats, I'm sorry. Nerve damage sucks. But you are right, it could be worse. Cain mentioned the day you posted this that the skin color around the wound looked bad. He figured it was dying.

I wish their was something that could have been done. So I just hope that I get through this by summer so I can back behind the wheel of the Jeep. If I had an auto it would be good, but I can't work a clutch now.
