Hey guys. I know we have members from all over the country so I thought I would post this up.
My Dad is nearing 70 in a few years and I have been thinking about things I know were on his "bucket list". For year we have talked about a father/son guided Elk hunt somewhere in the US. I am hoping someone (or more than one) might have a recommendation for a guide, location, suggestions, ideas, etc. as I have decided to finally do it before it's to late next year.
The only real issue in planning is health. My Dad has some back and hip problems so up and down mountains isn't going to cut it and he isn't going to pack much if anything. He hunts whitetails here in Michigan with me and does fine but those limitations I have to account for.
Any help or direction would be a huge help as I really have no idea where to start other than searching the internet for something and that is risky vs a recommendation.
Also..how about success...don't really want to hunt on a guaranteed game ranch but want to know we have a solid chance of us getting one each or at least one between us. Also coupled with a nice deer hunt at the same time would be awesome!
